Jean Houston is the principal teacher and is joined by Peggy Rubin, Betty Rothenberger and Gerry & Denise Dignan.

Margaret Nash (Peggy) Rubin is the principal teaching associate of Jean Houston, Ph.D., in Dr. Houston's worldwide multicultural transformational work and in her schools of spiritual studies, as well as a member of the core faculty of the Social Artistry Summer Leadership Institute. Working with Jean, Peggy has presented classes, workshops and trainings throughout the United States, and in Australia, New Zealand, England, Ireland, Sweden, Greece, Egypt, The Netherlands, India, West Africa, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Jamaica, and, on behalf of the United Nations Development Programme, in Albania, St. Lucia, Barbados, and Kenya. She is also founding director of the Center for Sacred Theatre in Ashland, Oregon. Primary activities of the Center include the creation of workshops in Living Life as Sacred Theatre, and Sacred Studies of the Divine Feminine.

Betty Rothenberger has been a faculty member of the Mystery School since it began in 1984, serving it as mentor and archivist. Joining Jean Houston's staff in 1981, she has been involved with the two Human Capacities Training Programs, the Social Artistry Summer Leadership Institute, the Social Artistry Leadership Training, and is currently Academic Dean for the Masters in Leadership and Social Artistry program. For 32 years she taught in the inner city public schools of San Francisco. From 1994 to 1998, she was involved with UNICEF in Bangladesh, assisting the Bangladesh government in educational innovation. She has traveled extensively, often on Jean's Mystery School journeys, and accompanied Jean on her UNDP work in Albania. A Millionth Circle convener, she also works to foster and empower women's circles.

Gerry and Denise Dignan bring brilliant, evocative and transformative work to Mystery School and Social Artistry through their extraordinary gifts of song and dance. For over ten years they have woven their genius into group singing of old and new melodies as well as songs and chants from many cultures. Additionally, they have the knowledge of the folk dances of many nations and teach these dances with flair and delight. They lift our work to new heights as participants, inspired by their work, become part of a celebrational community that is able to learn more deeply, commit to social projects with grace, and know themselves as people who can make a difference. Gerry and Denise bring the greatest gift to us all: the gift of discovering, through song and dance, who we are and what we yet may be. Gerry's singing has been very diverse - from seven years in the world-class Chicago Symphony Chorus to traditional Irish ballads to Spanish folksongs to rocking Gospel to chants from world music to family music with "Music Together." Gerry recently released his debut CD "Harvest of Life - Songs of Hope & Celebration". www.GerryDignan.com
